Bark for a Park
Our mission is to establish a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved canine companions can exercise and play in a clean, safe environment without endangering themselves or disturbing people, property or wildlife; to develop a beautiful, well-maintained space, open to all dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park’s rules and restrictions; to view this park as a community project, designed to satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike.

Q: What is a dog park?
A: A dog park is a fenced in area where dogs can run, off-leash, safely. Used to exercise and socialize.
Q: How does a dog park work?
A: Dogs are allowed into the park by a double gated fence to ensure that off-leash dogs inside the park cannot run out. Once the first gate is securely closed, dog and owner may enter into the off-leash area through a second gate. The basic rules are as follows:
• Dog park hours are from sunrise to sunset
• Users assume the "at your own risk" policy, which coincides with all city park areas
• Owners must dispose of waste properly in the designated on-site containers
• Limit of 3 dogs per owner, per visit - each dog must have a leash and be leashed prior to entry
• Aggressive dogs, female dogs in heat, and puppies less than 4 months old are not permitted
• Owners must remain inside fence with their dogs at all times, keeping them in sight and voice control
