Dog Park Info
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a dog park?

A: A dog park is a facility set aside for dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners.

Q: How does a dog park work?
A: Dogs are allowed into the park by a double gated fence to ensure that off-leash dogs inside the park cannot run out. Once the first gate is securely closed, dog and owner may enter into the off-leash area through a second gate.

Dog Park Rules:

For dog parks to be safe, healthy and fun for all, there are rules. Rules will be posted at the entrance of each dog park location. Dog park patrons are encouraged to take responsibility to see that the rules are followed by all. (Hey, peer pressure works!) Each city's dog park rules may vary slightly.
