How You Can Help
1. COMMUNITY SURVEY - Click here to take community survey
Complete our community survey so that we can share our research on resident's opinions about dog parks with our municipalities.

2. INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS
"I became a lifetime donor ($100) got two t-shirts, and felt good for it. But even better is seeing my desire for
a dog park taking shape and coming to life, and knowing that my donation is helping to raise that fence."
                                                                                                                                    -Beth B., Pelham

Make a tax-deductible donation. Every amount gets us one step closer to opening our next dog park and keeping them all well-maintained. It's easy -- just click the PayPal button below to donate! A receipt can be printed for your tax records from PayPal.

3. BUSINESS DONATIONS
Get your company involved in the BARK 40! Forty companies donating $1,000 each = raising dog park fences (and keeping them maintained). Write us for more information at barkforapark@yahoo.com.

4. VOLUNTEER
Consider donating your time and ideas to our mission. Many skills and talents are needed - accounting, web design, photography, graphic design, writing, public relations, fundraising, volunteer management, event planning, & more. You can also offer your support in more informal ways by doing things like spreading the word to your friends and family, post a link to our website from your Facebook page or other website, blog about us, or connect us to your contacts that may have resources to offer (do you know a business owner that might donate raffle items for our next fundraiser or become an event sponsor?).

5. ADVOCATE
Let your municipality know that you want a dog park in your community. Hoover and Birmingham
residents asked their Mayor and Parks & Rec for a dog park, and they got it! You can too. Please feel free to contact your city leaders who are on the verge of pushing through dog parks as well. Please share your feelings, opinions and encouragements with them on moving forward in your community. We have teams who are working on dog parks in Homewood and Gardendale. Let us know if you want to join a team.
