Bark for a Park is a grassroots effort and receives the majority of its operating funds from individuals—that’s why we need your help. For less than the cost of taking your family to the movies, you can support the establishment and maintenance of dog parks in greater Birmingham. Your membership provides us with the dollars to:

• Advise and assist municipalities that are considering or planning dog parks (conducting research and surveys, providing expert advice, and architectural design)
• Make grants available to fund area dog parks in need of upgrades (fountains, benches, waste stations, poop bags, and other amenities)
• Educate community members on dog parks and responsible pet ownership (annual Bark for a Park outdoor festival, demonstration dog parks at community events, etc.)
• Support our extremely modest annual operating expenses (website, educational materials, etc.)
